Tan Kaelin, also known as Catie Tucker, is a songteller and educator whose life has been rooted in music since her earliest days in small-town Alabama, where she began to sing alongside her first spoken syllable. Over the years, she grew into a versatile vocalist, pianist, and songwriter, discovering that songwriting was more than a pastime—it was an outlet, a comfort, and a way to connect deeply with the world around her.

Catie pursued her dual passions at Auburn University, earning degrees in Secondary Mathematics Education and Music Composition. Her artistry has extended beyond the classroom and stage, including serving as the featured commercial vocalist for Regions Bank’s If In Life campaign in 2022, which aired nationally across radio and television.

Today, Catie teaches Music Technology and Mathematics in an Alabama Title I public high school, where she inspires the next generation to experience the same beauty of music composition that has shaped her own journey. Balancing artistry and education, Catie continues to write, perform, produce, and share her belief that music is both a story and a bridge—connecting hearts, ideas, and communities.
